Noah''s mouth dropped to the floor! We were traveling in the car with Noah and his friend, MJ when Santa''s call came in on the cell phone so when Santa preceeded to ask questions that only "Santa" would know, Noah''s eyes lit up. He and MJ were in "hog heaven" the rest of the week. MJ couldn''t wait to get home and ask his mother if Santa was going to call him as well. This was the greatest gift you could ever give a child. Santa was very personable and, after listening to the tape, very believable. The whole conversation took me back to the time when I believed. Matter-of-fact, after this experience I still believe I do!! Thanks so much for making such a wonderful childhood memory that Noah will cherish for a lifetime.

SciFi Dad had a contest where he was giving away a free phone call Santa. There’s this company called Santa Speaking and they take a bunch of info from you about your kids, and then have Santa call them and blow their minds.

I totally won that contest.

They asked me 8,529 questions per child, and not just the names and ages stuff, but questions like, “What do they need to work on?” and “What have they asked Santa for” and “What are their favorite colors?” I picked the date and time of the call; the 22nd, between 2 and 3. Of course, there was 15 billion feet of snow on the ground at 2pm on the 22nd, and of course the kids were all out sledding, so I called them home and told them that I was ‘worried about someone breaking a leg,’ and ‘could y’all just play close to the house for me so I don’t have to freak out?’ I can’t believe that worked, either.

The phone rang at 2:15 and I answered it. “Hello?”

“HO HO HO! Merrrrry Christmas!”

“Is this Santa?” “Of course it is! HO HO HO!” “Well, let me get the kids for you!”

I called them inside. I told them the phone was for them and they would never ever believe who was on the other end. 2of3 took the phone first. I only heard his end of the call, which started out with a nervous giggle and something of a smirk, turned into a bunch of how did you know THAT’s and ended with the biggest smile I’ve ever seen on a kid’s face. 1of3 asked me halfway through 2of3’s chat, “Is he talking to Uncle Gnilleps?”

“No, man, it’s even better. Just wait.”

1of3 took the phone and said hello. And then he rolled his eyes. And then he listened. He uh-huhed a lot in the beginning, and as their talk went on, his eyes got wider and wider and he smiled bigger and bigger. All the while, 20f3 was jumping around the house screaming, “Mom, it was really Santa! He knew EVERYTHING! He knew we’re from Denver, he knew I have to focus more at school, he knew about our letter ornament on the tree! It was REALLY Santa!” 1of3 said goodbye, handed the phone to me, and after we all sang Santa a Christmas song and had hung up, I noticed his hands were shaking. I looked at his face, and their were tears streaming down his cheeks.

I asked what was wrong and he just asked, “Mom, did you tell him to call? You have to tell me the truth.” I said no, that I knew Santa’s number but had no idea he knew ours. He stifled back his tears and in an almost-whisper said, “Mom, it was really Santa.”

I know, baby; I know it was.

And that was when I realized that my son, my little baby, didn’t believe in Santa anymore, or was at least totally on the fence about the whole thing, right up until that phone call. And now he has no doubts. Now, he has empirical proof. Now, he’s got that magic back, maybe only for another year or so, but it’s there.

And that, my friends, is what it’s all about.

It’s about seeing my kids believe in something beyond them. It’s about showing them how to have faith in something they can’t touch, that they’ll never really be absolutely certain of, but that they want to believe in. It’s about keeping a glimmer of misty-eyed wonder in their eyes, and I would happily cough up the $60 the call would have cost me anytime to make sure they have that as long as they can.

Our 6 year old was thrilled!!!!!! I just happened upon your site by accident. I''m soooo glad I did. We will use santaspeaking.com until the sad day when our kids no longer believe.

My daughter has Autism. She was able to stay on the phone with NO help for the whole time. That is rare and so special for her self esteem.

My son''s eyes were just LIT UP.... I almost cried, he was so happy :)

Abbie was especially excited. She''d been saying all week how "Santa hasn''t called me this year :-(". She was amazed that Santa knew the name of her basketball team - and thought it was funny that Santa and Mrs. Claus liked to watch the elves play basketball. That bit of personalization that you get with the SantaSpeaking calls is priceless!

. Samantha''s socks were blown right off her feet. The only thing she kept saying was that Santa had called her at home. She even insisted on sleeping in her own bed since Santa asked her to do that. The "ho ho ho" really got her. She let Santa know that she was leaving cookies and milk for him and carrotts for the reindeer. This was far better than any mall experience. Thank you, Santa and the elves for a great phone call.

Many, many thanks to Santa for calling my daughter, Maddox! He was unflappably warm and engaging, despite her somewhat tongue-tied responses :-) I am sorry he could not see the look on her face and her friend, Owen''s face, as the call went on, because they were amazed and astonished by how much he knew about Maddox. Santa even caught Maddox slouching at the dinner table when he mentioned that she needed to sit up and be polite in order to stay on the nice list! It''s not easy getting a precoicious 8 year-old to suspend disbelief, but Santaspeaking has made our daughter''s Christmas very merry and mysterious!

Our 3 1/2 year old daughter was so thrilled to speak to Santa that she could barely talk (which is a miracle for her!). After we hung up the phone my daughter jumped up and down and up and down. I tell you, it was completely priceless to hear the excitement in her voice and see the gleam in her eyes as she told her Grandmas about the call. Since then she has been telling her classmates in preschool that her "friend Santa." I would just like to say Thank You Santa Speaking, you are angels!!

I have never seen my child so excited in her life. No one will ever convience her that Santa is not real!!! She couldn''t believe he knew so much about her.

Debra was shocked at how much Santa knew about her and our family. He sang with her and really took his time to talk to her. I know you have to be very busy but you would have never known it by listening to the phone call!

Christian had a classmate that was told by his mom that their is no Stanta and was kind enough to share that with him. The boy is a bully anyway, but he was beginning to ruin our whole family''s christmas! Santa TOTALLY convinced Christian otherwise and addressed the issue of non-believers. Your Santa was AWESOME! My grandchildren called immediately following the call to tell me that Santa had called. They live very far away from me and this wasa wonderful way to be included in their holiday excitement.

My children were amazed that Santa knew so much detail about themselves. My 5 year old daughter made me smile when Santa mentioned the name of her teacher and knew that she was her "AM" teacher. With such wonder in her voice she stated "How did he know that????!" I think kids are conditioned to meeting Santa in the malls where he is very generic so the Santa call was such a wonderful contrast to help children believe that Santa truly is watching... ; - ) Also, I love the questions you prompt the parents with. They are very thorough to give Santa some nice background on how to identify with the child.

My son thinks it the ABSOLUTE best thing ever to have Santa call the house. Santa knew everything about him and his friends which really made him feel that Santa was watching.

It was incredible. The girls were dancing around for the rest of the night, singing in the shower. My 10 year old was over the moon saying "I knew it, I just knew it".....My 6 year old woke up with the hugest smile on her face, just as she promised Santa !

My kids were so thrilled that Santa called them and that he knew so many things about them. Santa sounded very authentic. Definitely will use again.

I don''t do the calls every year for simply the reaction of my kids, but rather the preservation of their sweet voices at their current age. Then I hang the cd''s on our christmas tree and we listen to them every year. You help us preserve a little of their childhood, stated in their own words.

Each year I have my parents come up on the day that Santa will call. Last night we put Santa on speaker phone and the parents enjoyed it just as much as Austin. My 5 year old son during the call was quite stoic speaking with santa, but once the call was through, he was dancing around and cheering for almost 10 minutes. Talked about it all night. Also, Santa asked him if he could try to stop sucking his thumb. Hasn''t sucked his thumb since the call. Just to see my son''s face light up and how happy he was everything a parent could wish for.

It Was so wonderful! and "Santa Speeking" made that wonderment happen again for at least 1 more year. Everytime my son sees Santa he becomes shy and can''t think of anything to say except that he wants a hockey stick for Christmas. This was completely different. We have a 7 yr old that is "on the edge" of not believing and this call makes it thoroughly impossible for them to not believe. So many things that Santa talked to him about blew him away and acknowledging our Elf on the Shelf, Snowball, in the call makes them believe in Snowball. My son just got his call tonight from Santa. I have NEVER seen him so excited or filled with joy! At first, he was a bit shy with Santa but when he realized it was for "real," he became animated! He was pacing the whole house on the phone and grinning from ear to ear. When he hung up, he was repeating everything Santa had said. (I put him on speaker so we could share his joy). He said this was the real Santa, no matter who said what. He called his grandmothers and repeated the entire conversation to them. Santa was very patient and knowledgeable about my son. My daughter is 20 and has down syndrome and thankfully we enjoy Christmas through her innocent eyes. I was afraid "Santa" wouldn''t understand her, because she doesn''t speak very clearly, but what a terrific conversation they had. I cannot even begin to tell you how AMAZING the phone call was last night. My kids were blown away with what Santa "knew" about them and how he answered their questions about the reindeer. My 6 yr old son Cole was out of his mind when Santa asked him how sledding was the day before!!!! My 3 yr old even sang him her Santa Song and was honestly AMAZED that he knew the words too!!! I will continue to use your services until my kids are adults!!!! I also purchased a call for my niece Holly Herzberg and she began to cry as soon as Santa hung up because she was soooooo happy that he told her she was on the top of the good girl list. That meant so much to her and also the fact that Santa knew that her dad and mom have birthdays in December!!! Santa wished them happy birthday and Holly just about fell off her chair!!!! Thank you so much for your quick response. I wanted to also commend "Santa" for his patience with my daughter. I noted on my form that my little girl Hailey is Autistic and Santa was SOOOO patient with her and she stayed on the phone the whole time and listened and spoke to him. She normally gets upset on the phone and hangs up. That call was more of a Christmas gift than we could ever have hoped for- and we have it on CD!!!! My daughter is 10 and was on the verge of "not believing" ... until her phone call from Santa. She was absolutely blown away!!! He knew the names of her friends, that they don''t always get along (and he told her that he didn''t expect 10 year olds to, but to try hard); he knew she needed to work on her multiplication and that she really wanted to go New York City. I loved that Santa asked my son to sing the ABC''s. That was so cool. I was not expecting it and when I heard him sing it was great. That was very imprompt and made the call more believable. Last year (2007), I found your website and odered a call for my son. The expression on his face when I told him Santa was on the phone for him was one full of shock and excitement and completely priceless. Wonderful!!!!! This was one of the best things we have ever done! Last night as he was falling asleep our son told us he now has his own magical Christmas story to tell his children one day! Friday, December 16, 2005 Santa Called Carson Last Night! What a thrill! We had just finished dinner and were talking about getting ready for the bed, when the phone rang. I answered on speaker, Daddy grabbed the video camera, and we heard "HO HO HO." It was SANTA!! Santa was WONDERFUL! He asked Carson lots of questions (he even asked how Nate and Sophia and Carson''s teachers were doing--he knew their names!) Then, he talked to Carson about playing soccer and football, because he knows Carson likes sports. Carson told him that he has to play them outside, and Santa said, "HO HO HO, yes you do! And not when there is snow on the ground!" Later, he asked Carson how his baby brother Wesley was and if he was awake or sleeping. They even talked about school, and Santa asked Carson to say his ABCs. Eventually, Santa asked what Carson wanted for Christmas. Carson said, "ummmm..." So Santa responded, "Lets see, how about a fishing pole?" "Yeah! A fishing pole!" responded Carson. "And what about some Woody and Buzz toys?" Santa asked. Carson''s face lit up. Then, Carson said, "and I want green." (We had no clue what that meant, but he''s been saying it a lot.) Santa didn''t miss a beat, "HO HO HO, something green? Hmmmm... I''ll mention it to the elves." Before he hung up, he reminded Carson that Mommy and Daddy would really like for him to be polite at the table when we''re eatting, and he asked if Carson can do that.
